Any advice - I am desperate. Is it colic or something else?

I am literally at my wits end. My twin boys are 11 weeks old. One of them has had problems with feeding since he was about 4/5 weeks. After a feed (hes on formula) he screams and screams and screams until he exhausts himself and falls asleep. He rarely has any happy time at all. He brings up lots of wind (and passes it down below too) and generally a fair bit of milk as well. We have seen docs and they keep saying colic/reflux. Have tried EVERYTHING - infacol, cow and gate comfort, gaviscon, colief, Dr Browns Bottles, Cranial Osteopathy. Nothing is making any difference - it just seems to be getting worse. I dread feeding him and it is made all the more difficult becasue of his twin brother and my toddler daughter - I simply cannot hold him all the time. Surely if it was colic it would be starting to get better by this time - not worse? It is really getting to me. It is impossible to settle hime after a feed and her literally cries all the time - he is clearly uncomfortable. Don't know where to go from here but I have to try something.

Have looked at symptoms for lactose intolerance but he doesn't have runny stools (which seem to be a classic symptom). Anyone got any advice? I am really desperate.

Really sorry your having such a hard time. Sounds similar to my DS who had bad reflux and threw up constantly.I tried all of the above and more but because he wasn't losing weight GP just said put up with it and it should ease after a year! In the end even though he wasn't lactose intolerant the only thing that worked for me was Wysoy formula. Might help but it's probably a case of just trying everything. Reflux very often diagnosed as colic esp if baby not throwing up. Gaviscon in every bottle helped my DS but takes a while to have an effect. Good luck.
