BF: Too late to start again after not having bf for 2 weeks??

DS is nearly 7 months and and I stopped bf him about 2 weeks ago completely after slowly winding down with a view to going back to work next week. I have just been made redundant though. Can I start again or is too late? He's currently happy on bottles and I'm doing BLW with the food and that's all going well. Boobs are def smaller and now have a lumpy feel to them which I remember from stopping with DD.

Why don't you give it a go and see how it goes ? the chances are having been breastfeeding for 6 months plus that it will be fairly easy to kick-start your supply if your ds is willing. Sorry to hear you've been made redundant .

Guess I'm a little scared to...in case it hurts or doesn't work or he rejects it.

You could try offering him a feed when he is tired/sleepy, perhaps after a bath at bedtime, that might make it easier for you both.
Sorry about your job.

You might need to stimulate your milk supply first with lots and lots of expressing.
If there is no milk he probablly won't be interested in trying hence the bite.
When you start expressing you probablly won't get anything at first but thats OK - its the stimulation you are after not the milk.
