Does anyone have experience of this. I bf my ds1
my boobs went from a 34d to a 34f not the end of the world but they do give me alot of backache and the funny looks I get from strangers upsets me. Health professionals said they would return to normal when I stopped feeding. But they didn't am 30 weeks pg now and they have gone up to a 36 h has anyone had this problem do you think they will go back to an f. I will be bf either way.

Sorry, in my experience - no they won't!

Iwas an E cup, then baby 1 left them a FF. 5 years later I am BF baby 2 (6 months) and they are a G! It would be nice to think they will go back to FF but doubt it somehow! on the plus side, they keep my ears nice and warm at night!

Thanks kirsty I have asked my mw and health visitor but they don't seem to want to tell you anything negative. I think its more my knees mine keep warm. At least now I can spend a fortune on nice expensive pretty bras without guilt

I know what you mean - I love the Bravissimo sales !

What does bug me though is when I was a D I picked up bras anywhere for £5. When did you get measured for your nursing bras I havn't yet because they seem to still be growing.

I didn't to be honest. Tried some soft cups on in Debenhams at about 36/37 weeks, wore them until BF established at about 2 weeks, then tried on my old bra to guestimate what size I was (which was 1 size bigger than I had bought!). Then bought an underwire nursing bra (Anita Maternity, from Figleaves) which I think only goes up to equivalent of G cup, and is prob a cup too small but so much more comfy than softcups!

I found with first baby that boobs didn't go where I expected them to after baby born,so waited until feeding to get right size this time.

I will wait also that first week with engorged boobs is not pretty give them time to settle down a bit before coughing up loads of money thanks.
