Bleeding when feeding

Hi, I really hope someone is able to help, I have been BF my 8MODD without any major problems, until now!!!

Over the last few days it has become increasingly painful - possibly due to latch problems caused by teething. After much looking online I think it could be mastitis/blocked duct - had this with DS1 and symptoms same. The problems I would really appreciate help with is that when feeding I am bleeding - what seems alot but sure it looks worse than it is, but after her lunch time nap I just got DD up to be greeted with a scene from a cheap vampire film - blood in cot, complete with large clots.

Just don't know what to do - aware that I should continue feeding to clear any block (have one very painful part of boob, flu symptoms, pain ) but the idea of dd consuming quantities o blood is v upsetting!

Any suggestions - please
