Strange coloured milk

Last night I expressed 4 ounces of milk and it had a strange greeny bluey tinge to it. I only had shepherds pie and peas for tea so I don't think it was anything I ate. Is this normal? My boobs seem normal and it didn't smell at all. I had a white bra and breast pads in too so it wasn't clothes dye either.

yep, totally normal.

bm can vary from white to green to blue to yellow... i have a stockpile in the freezer and i swear every pot is a slightly differant shade.

was very interesting in the hospital's milk fridge to see the variation in colours between women and even in the supply of each individual woman.

Have you been taking antibiotics? Sometimes some ABs can lead to a harmless green tinge. A blue tinge is quite common and not an issue. As pp says, every expression looks different .

Wow I had no idea! Wish I hadn't chucked it down the sink now. I'll pay more more attention in future. Thanks for replies

What you eat can effect the colour as well sometimes.
