My daughter is 6mths and weaned, for the last couple of days she seemed hungrier than normal, i measure her cow and gate dry cereal with her milk scoop, she currently has
2 x scoop porridge + 7floz 05.30
7floz 10.00
half jar hipp organic + 7floz 2pm
2 x scoop porridge + 7floz 7pm

and she seems ok with this and sleeping through the night 8pm - 5am

I bought some Heinz porridge and the feeding guide on the back says 9 level desert spoons for a 6mth old, that seems alot or am i not feeding my baby enough.
I'm a bit worried now as this is my first and i sometimes worry i'm doing it right or not.

my lo's never ate the suggested portion sizes as they were far too large. Be guided by your lo as I am sure she would let you know if she waned more.

Feed you dd as much or as little as she wants. That was the advice I was given with ds1 who is now 2.10years. All babies have different appetites just like adults. I remember my HV telling me that I wouldn't like it if someone put a limit on how much I could eat if I was hungry or made me eat me than my stomach could take.

Hope that helps

I don't think my daughter could manage a full portion that size now and she's over 2.
