Quick question - poorly baby rejecting breast

Ds is 9 mo and is a bit of a boob monster. Normally.

Yesterday we were at a wedding and he threw up spectacularly. We went home - he was all weak, sleepy, floppy but perked up a bit. he had a long bf at bedtime - lots of snuggles.

He woke 90 mins later and wouldn't feed. dh cuddled him back to sleep. ANother 5.5 hours later he woke and eventually had a long feed.

This morning he won't have any of it
I'm not sure wehat to do.

I had a quick express just to stop me panicking, but I'm not sure if i should give him any real food or not. If he rejects milk, wil he want/need/be ok with food?

I hope this isn't the end

quick extra: he goes to latch on then starts crying as if it tastes bad or something but he's not even started sucking let alone got any milk... confused and worried

Is he drinking anything at all? If not trying expressing and syringing BM, 10ml at a time every ten minutes or so. He may bring it back up but at least his mouth will be kept moist and he will get some benefit from it.

The latching on to feed may be too much effort if he feels that crap, but he does want it hence crying.

I agree with LeninGrad that you shouldn't let this go on too long if he isn't drinking anything at all - take to A&E if not taking some fluids within the next few hours.
