I bought one once out of fascination . I never actually used it with my baby. It bears only superficial resemblence to a breast. The way the teat behaves in no way mimics the way a nipple and surrounding breast tissue behaves during breastfeeding as far as I could see, any more than any other bottle.

I had an Adiri bottle similar to this but I can't recommend it as it constantly leaked...Maybe I wasn't using it properly but a baby bottle need not be complicated to use...I binned it as it was too much hassle.

Sorry, it might actually have been nice for the baby but I didn't try it long enough to know.

I'm using them at the moment for my baby and I do think it's wonderful actually! I'm having to mix feed at the mo (DD 4 weeks old) and this is the only bottle she will take and then be able to latch onto me anyway. I do think it closely resembles the way a baby needs to breastfeed, more than any other bottle Ive seen but agree they are a bit leaky at times! You have to 'lock in' the teat to the lid or it leaks, and if you put hot water in, the plastic expands and will leak from the base! So you need to cool the milk down in another bottle first. An absolute faff, very expensive and fiddly to put together, but it's helping me and my baby so it's def worth it!
