Shrinking boobs after stopping BF

Can anyone give me their experiences of how long it takes for your boobs to stop shrinking after finishing breastfeeding? I fed my ds for 7 months and then stopped. 2 weeks after the last feed all the lumps had gone and they'd shrunk a size. No change for the last week. Am I safe to go underwear shopping yet?!

OK, thanks. I like the reinflated thing! Mine gained 3 sizes and have only dropped one size yet, so maybe there's more to go.

Oh I have hope if there's reinflating. I've stopped after 10 months and have gone to nothing. It's really sad actually. So will keep my fingers crossed that I might get something back.

This is pretty normal from what I've read on here.

I stopped BFing when my DD was 10 months, but I was already 10 weeks pregnant at that point and didn't change.

I have so many bras of different sizes in my drawers its absolutely ridiculous, I find I just keep shrinking. I too love the idea that they re-inflate. Mind you, three years on and I'm still waiting!!

I had the opposite problem. Was a 34C/36B prior to having ds then went up to a 36E when feeding, then went down to a 34D when I stopped. Make sure you wear good, supportive bras. Maybe buy some cheap ones (that give good support)and splash out in a few months on some nice bras.
