OK - I'm looking for sympathy.....

After visit to Doc today am now on 3rd course of fluconazole and now using canestan with hydrocortisone to blast the bugger away. Fed up with putting cream on, using breastpads, miltoning cups and spoons, putting gel in ds's mouth, etc, etc, blah blah.

This is week 4 now. Getting mighty p'd off. Even going to stop eating bread, wine and sugar again .

RANT OVER - OFF FOR SHOWER.

Seriously - it sounds awful and I'm not surprised you're p'd off. It'll be 3rd time lucky with the medication though, you'll see

Totally sympathetic - it's awful isn't it. I had a bad dose with dc3. What dose of fluconazole are you on? Mine didn't clear until I went for the large amounts advocated in the breastfeeding network leaflet - loading dose of 300mg and then 100mg x 2 per day.
Really hope that this course clears it. Hang in there. Hope everyone in rl is being very kind to you

Thanks you two - hoping you are right with the 3rd time lucky thing... Have been on 150mg loading and then 2x50mg per day for 10 days. Doc has given me a lower dose this time as she is worried with the amounts I've been having but hopes the use of hydrocortisone will kill it off once and for all.

It's just so crapola!
