BFing and caffeine

When you drink caffeine before BFing does it keep your baby awake? My DTs (11mo) are very unsettled tonight and I wonder if it is the coffee (filter coffee, so probably quite strong) I had after dinner tonight, about an hour before feeding.

It's unlikely - unless you never ever have caffeine normally. It is passed in tiny amounts. If you had four expressos I suspect it may have an effect but I drink tons of tea and coffee and my kids have both been crap sleepers, even when I gave it up so.....

11 month olds tend to have molar ishoos!

Yeah, I thought it could be teething. I only usually have one cup of coffee a day, at lunchtime, so hours before their next feed, so I don;t know how they usually do with caffeine. Thanks for your reply.
