Finished feeding my second DS about 6 weeks ago - he was about 6 and a half months then (8 months now). Can't remember exactly how long it took to get my periods back after finishing feeding DS1 but think it was quicker. How long will it take for them to start again?

Don't think there are any hard & fast rules, sure you're not pregnant already though? With my youngest 2 my periods started again straight away despite full time bf!

Don't think I'm preggers again but wanting to get preggers if possible in the back half of the year so looking to get them back to work out when I'm ovulating - I've always been irregular (although strangely alot more regular after DS1 came along)

I agree that different women have different experiences with regards to when their periods return. Personnally mine took one month after a year of BFing DD. Joeymac: it's not strange that yours were more regular after DS1. Having DD seemed to kick start my hormones too. Conceiving DS was far easier than DD had been. I'm sure your period will return soon.
