Did dropping the night breastfeed affect your bedtime routine?

16mo dd is finally in a fantastic bedtime routine and sleeping through - has been a slog, so am not taking this forgranted! I'd like to drop the breastfeeding, but am worried that it might affect her beditime routine - she's not fed to sleep, but its a definite step in what we do. Do I just try it and take the plunge? What did you do?

when we did this with out ds at just over a year it was fine - we had introduced a story just before the bf and after the bath and just continued doing that. He was never fed to sleep though iyswim.

We didnt even replace with cows milk as he always had a lateish dinner with us (6pm)

Ds was bottled by then, but we just swtiched to a drink of cow's milk in a cup before bedtime. He still has it and is nearly 3. We put on a low light and snuggle. He has to brush his teeth afterwards, but it is still a big part of bed time.
