Is it normal to suddenly get sore breasts more than 2 weeks after stopping BF?

I stopped feeding my 19mo DTs the day after Mother's Day and two weeks on, I have suddenly got quite sore breasts, especially on my right side and particularly behind the nipple. They were only on one feed a day, first thing in the morning, and can't have been getting much as I have had absolutely no engorgement.

Is it possible to get a blocked duct or something like that two weeks on, without any symptoms up until now??

Thanks for replying! Nope, still sore...
I kind of thought that if it was going to be painful it would happen in the 2-3 days after stopping, not two weeks later ...oh well!

If you are worried, check with your GP or practice nurse. I had to wean my DS2 quite quickly and was very concerned about the state of my breasts afterwards. My GP didn't seem to think I was mad at all for having them checked.
