GP thinks I may be starting early menopause, and wants to prescribe Mirena coil plus oestrogen patches. She describes the oestrogen as a 'top-up'. I am still bfing 2yo ds2. I want to take the HRT, but had hoped to allow ds to self-wean. I don't know what effect the HRT will have on this. I can't find any info. Can anyone advise?
