Prob silly question but when can/do you go back to normal underwired bras after b/f?

Have breastfed DS for a year. I have managed a whole week without feeding him at night, (hurrah) and am wondering when I can go back to normal bras?

There's still some milk there, I know and I don't want to cause myself any problems, so just wondering.
TIA

I am still feeding DS2 and wearing underwired bras.

I think I started wearing them when he was about 6mths old when I stopped expressing at work.

HTH

I think once your supply is all settled you can go for it. I think I lost my rag with horrible nursing bras around 8 months and chucked the lot. Just be aware - if you get any sore spots or blockages, switch back!

I went back to underwired bras when she was two. To be honest think I could have done it way earlier!

It was about 8mths with my DD and I continued to feed her til 15 mths. My DS is now 6wks old and I'm already pining for my underwires (my boobs are so ENORMOUS I feel like if I don't get them some proper support soon I'll be wearing them as knee warmers! )

I'm still feeding DS at 2.5 years but would never have lasted this long if I'd had to put up with normal nursing bras! I went back to work at 5 or 6 months so wore my old underwired bras to work, and whenever I was leaving the house. At home I wear nursing bras for ease of access, so to speak!

i went back to normal bras at 12m too. have gone down several sizes in three years since then, so don't buy too many at once!

About 18 months, basically when dd stopped feeding when we were out and about. Am back in them now though as dd2 only 10 weeks.
