With dd, I expressed about 2 or 3 times a day and had no problems whatsoever. She was at nursery so I was expressing the milk to freeze. With ds I haven't done it regularly but when I try I just can't seem to do it. I am using the same pump. Is it just that I haven't persevered? I am leaving him with a friend tomorrow morning and at this rate will have no milk to leave with him

With your DD were you apart so expressing missed feeds, whilst now your with your DS, trying to pump extra milk in addition to his usual feeds? The only way I could express if it wasn't a missed feed was to express one breast as baby fed of the other, and get 1-2 oz over a few feeds until had enough to make a bottle. First feed of the day the best for getting a good amount. Hope you manage to get some.
