Silent reflux ...would Emfamil AR help?

Ds who is 13 weeks has got silent reflux and has been prescribed Infant Gaviscon which helps a little but causes bad constipation so we only use it on the night feeds when he will be laying down.
He has been on Cow and Gate Comfory formula which he enjoys but over the last week has started to take less and less at each feed. Now having between 4-5 oz's every 4 hours.Where he used to take 5-6 oz's.
I have just spoken to my HV who is fantastic and has suggested the possibility of Enfamil AR.
Just wondering if this formula helps with the silent reflux or just the vomiting?
Thank you.

sorry, I don't know, but you may want to ask your GP for Ranitidine. We tried infant gaviscon too (starting around 12-13 weeks or so), with lots of wind and constipation, so went on to the Ranitidine instead (much later, around 6 months). It may just be coincidence, but after a few weeks he didn't even need it anymore. (may be because he is now established on solids, though the first month of solids he was a spit-up machine ...)

thanks chandellia-seems to be a real problem with gaviscon doesnt it?
Have been reading about Enfamil AR and that seems to cause constipation.
