Stopping Breastfeeding - Feeling Low - Hormonal?

Have had to stop breastfeeding DS (13 months) about 2 weeks ago and have been feeling really low since then.

Could it be hormonal?

its normal, because you and your baby was so close - now time to move forward

i was the same...i did put it down to hormones as i was better in a couple of weeks.

i remember sobbing in the shower and generally being pretty flat.

well done you 13 months that is fantastic. Hormones definitely and it will pass soon. Time for you now - why don't you buy yourself nice new undies as you won't have to wear those ugly feeding bras any more. I still occasionally miss feeding 9 months on but I feel that I can enjoy my little girl more in some ways as she is not sucking the life out of me and when she comes to me for a cuddle it is just that. Hope you feel better soon.
