what size teat

i know this sounds silly but i just wandered if anyone has any idea what size teat i should be using for my 10 month old son. i use avent bottles and just switched to size 3 which are appropriate for his age. but the flow is too quick for him to cope with. is there any reason why you have to change them or is it ok to use size 2 till hes on beakers. i would appreciate any advice any wise mother would have to give. because am a bit puzzled. thankyou

I'd go with what works for you. If he is drainng his bottle and not getting gassy then why swap?

use whatever teat suits your lo whether that be slow flow or fast flow. DS was the opposite and was on fast flow teats from about 4 months even though the age guide is 6 months.

thanks both of you for your help i feel a lot better now. i was soft enough to ask avent for there advice not realising they are just trying to sell there products.
