4 month bf baby suddenly having reflux? help!

Oh gosh...where do I start?! Our 4 months old son is suddenly bringing up quite a lot after feeding (or sometimes hours later)- sometimes fresh milk and sometimes quite liquid stuff. He started doing this since about a week now and the problem seems to be increasing. He used to bring up quite a lot in the first two months but it settled down. I have to change him at least 5 times these days due to wet clothes, he brings up so much (but never thick milk?) that I get worried, also his weight gain is quite little in the past weeks (which could be because he is very tall).
He is a very happy baby, smiles babbles and laughs a lot, plays well etc but could it be that he is picking up some of the tension between me and my husband and brings up his food because of that? that thought really scares me, obviously we are not arguing in front of him, and treat him with lots of love.
Is reflux not more likely to occur in the first three months?

Hi my DS has reflux and I have read lots on it, the peak incidence of reflux is apparantly 3/4 months so it is very possible to have started now, although my DSs started at 2/3 weeks. It is very stressful but as long as your DS is happy and not in pain or loosing weight then hopefully he will grow out of it in the coming months. I would get it checked out, though, just to be sure all is OK and there are treatments that can help even for bf babies.
