Formula milk confusion

Live in Sweden but am off to visit my family in England for a week. I've just stopped breastfeeding my 8 and a half month old and he is now having bottle feeds of formula. In Sweden I have been switching between two brands, Semper and Nestle. Both of which have different milk for 4 months upwards.

Just went on the Ocado website to see what milk was available and there are so many brands and so many types. It seems the follow on milk in England is for 6 months up. Have heard that this can be a bit tough on babies tummies, is this right? Is it better to use the 'milk for hungrier babies' which can be given from birth which they all seem to do? My son eats iron and vitamin enriched porridge so iron isn't a huge issue.

My son has a bottle at around 11am and then usually not another bottle till bedtime (7), then two more during the night.

Also what brand is 'best' or are they all the same? I would like to have milk that is available in 200ml ready packs seeing as most of the milk is given to him in the night.

Thank you very much in advance!

They are all about the same. If you want ready-mixed then this will limit your choice, and may make the decision for you.

They are all the same - the stage 2 milk is probably the same as the one you have been giving

Just to add - the neborn (stage 1) milk is fine to give to an 8 month old if you want, as I understand, the hungry baby milk is no different in terms of nutrition. Go for whichever brand does the correctly sized packs.
