I thought i'd start this as I am finding that i am ending up feeding ds2 inj all sorts of places and situations that i never thought i would or could.

Latest one was on a walk through the forest, had to head back to get ds1 from school and so had to feed on the go. My friend took pic as she thought was one for the album! I managed not to crash the buggy either and ds2 fell asleep!

Have fed many times in shops now, sat on display sofa or when sorting blind order. Fed in school playground when he was tiny (that wasnt good.. lots of little ones asking lots of questions and ds2 got upset)
Fed sat on many benches, logs, pieces of grass. Often in the car (stationary ). In the bath every night almost too.

I never thought would have the confidence i do now but as he has gotten older i have got more confidence as well.

Also he does acrobatics now, climbing on me whilst attached.. ouch.

Loving it though

I am always impressed by anyone who has bfed in a moving car. I've expressed on the motorway (DH driving) but DD has refused to take it - will have to try just leaning over sometime but it sounds v tricky and uncomfortable.

I first bfed in public on the steps of Westminster Registry Office following a wedding, then in the reception at Lord's (in a dress so discreet that people kept coming up to peer at DD without realising we were mid-feed ). Since then have also done it walking around a park, walking into ultrasound (DD got grouchy in the waiting room, then had to be prised off me to have her hips examined), walking around John Lewis in the pre-Christmas rush (first time I used a sling, very liberating) and walking around a farm shop (again in sling) to pick up our local happy Christmas turkey (lady on the till was so impressed that she called all the farmhands over for a look), at which point I reached critical mass of middle-classness and ceased to exist

While taking communion at church - fortunately the priest had no idea what was going on under the sling

Funny I should notice this thread today as I had a BF in public moment earlier. I'd parked in a car park and DS started creating so I sat in the driver's seat feeding him. A 4x4 drew up next to me, about three feet higher than my car, driven by a rather unfriendly-looking man who had a great view down. I felt a bit awkward so pulled my top down over the spare boob (normally I'm hopeless at discreet feeding and just let it all hang out). What really narked me was that he banged my wing mirror with his car door but just carried on talking into his phone - huh! I Accidentally knocked his door as I got out a few minutes later, oops, so careless of me

The other place that sticks in my mind is feeding DS at DD's parents' evening - it was that or shout to make ourselves heard over the squawking! Once fed DD in Sainsbury's and the security guard's eyes were popping out of his head - definitely the distraction technique to use when you next plan a supermarket heist!

Not unusual I know - but when I first had DC1, I needed to feed him in the car, mid-journey. So found a safe place to park and got into the back with him, shut the door and began to feed. It was only when I'd finished, and got him safely back in his car seat, that I realised that in preparation ofr the baby DH had put the child locks on teh doors I had to clamber over the front seats in a very unlady like fashion to resume my journey!
