Holiday at 9 months without DS and effect on feeding

Hi, I have an opportunity to go on holiday for a long weekend (4 days) without my DS who will be 9 months old at that point (currently 2 and a half months)
He is currently exclusively bf. I am a bit ignorant of how things tend to work after you have weaned children. A lot of mums I know tend to at least use some formula by this stage or have completely given up bfing.
Basically my question is: if I am still breastfeeding by then, could I take a pump with me on holiday and pump while I am out there to keep up my supply? Would this work? Or would my supply not dry up in 4 days anyway? And if I didn't pump would I get really engorged and uncomfortable (I would be doing lots of exercise while out there, so being uncomfortable would not be good). And how often would I need to pump, if I need to (I am guessing a similar amount to how often he would feed?)
Basically I don't want to go away if it would mean enforced end of breastfeeding, as it seems very selfish to stop just because of a holiday I would want to take for me!
By the way DH will be looking after DS and is happy to do so, and so I don't have any other worries about going away as I am sure DH will look after him fantastically.

your supply ought to bhe ok by then, but like you say you will probably want to take the pump and express because you will get engorged and uncomfortable oetherwise

i';d take it, and just pump when you feel the need.
