Sorry for umpteenth posting in a few days, this is a quickie i promise......
ds generally a good feeder, but sometimes 'snacks' for about 5 mins on 1 boob (usu if had a long feed on other boob within the hour) then burps & falls asleep. No matter what i do i can't get him to feed again at that time. So when he's due for his next feed, do i put him back on the boob he failed to finish last time, or try the other one?? Or does it not really matter??

Oh, & just remembered, his last nappy had green, mucousy (sp?) stringy bits in it (sorry if TMI) - anyone come across this before?

TIA, Caspercat xx

i'd prob put him bacxk on the same boob. but it doesn't really matter

I would put him back on same boob (but agree not to worry unduly). I seem to remember green poo can be a sign of too much foremilk - common with snacking babies, and putting him back on same boob would help with this. However has been a while since I was up to date with latest thinking. i am sure better advice along in a minute.

that would make sense cathpot, he is a bit of a snacker, but we're working on it! thanks for that xxx

I was about to say the same as Cathpot, can be a sign of too much foremilk. If it persists then try and get someone to check your latch (BF group, BFC) because it can mean that the baby isn't latching right.
