Can anyone help? this is my first time here but i'm in dire straits with accutely engorged breast. Have 6 week old baby and been b'feeding ok but last 2 days he didn't feed properly and i cld only feed v irregularly yesterday due to hospital appts etc. so 1 breast now full of countless lumps, unbelievably painful and cannot express anything off it. Baby won't feed from it to help clear either.

cold cabbage leave in bra?
Cold flannel/hot flanner and massage towards nipple,
Sit in a nice warm bath- that helped for me.

Not sure of any toehrs- but oyu haev my sympathy.
it happened to me a few times and it is bloody sore.
good luck

Put a really hot flannel on it or stand in a hot shower for 5 mins or so, or till you notice the milk beginning to flow, then express a bit. Then your baby should be able to feed from it. Good luck, it's agony, but it feels so much better once it's drained!
