how many bf?7 month old

i wanted to ask u guys, how many breastfeeding do u tink leah should be having durin the day? im a little confused..she cn go 8 hours i tink without one, but im not sure..how i shud spread them out...?

In my personal experience, as many as she wants. Whenever she wants them. At 7 months they've only just started solids, milk is their main diet and I fed on demand.

As many as she wants. At that age, DS was having a feed at least every 3 hours in the day

im also 17 weeks pregnant, so its extermly painful..and she has a dairy allergy...i duno wen she wants a milk feed..she seems content...i jus give it wen i tink its bn long enuf... :S

my 7 month old is having 6-7 feeds a day. (BF and 1 FF)
here's our rough schedule for what it's worth. (excluding any extra whinge feeds or bonus night feeds.)

i think lots of the other babies we know are down to only 3-5 feeds a day though. and sleep through the night.

8:00 am - BF
9:00 - porridge
11:30 - nap
12:00 - BF
1:00pm - lunch - ca. 200g puree/lumps
3:00 - BF
4:30 - nap
5:00 - BF (optional - sometimes doesn't need it - expect to drop this one)
6:00 - dinner - ca. 300g puree/lumps/yogurt
7:30 - BF off to bed
10:30 - bottle (FF)
3:00am - BF

My DD is the same age and has 3 BFs per day, then night feeds, one at 10.30ish, then she usually wants one at 2.00am, trying to drop this and one at about 4ish. She seems really happy with this, I would be happier if she slept through and started to take more than a coupe of ounces of formula from a bottle, just to give me a little more freedom for odd days and nights out. Hoping it happens soon!
