Questions, breastfeeding a toddler while pregnant

I hope someone can help.

DS is 2.4 and I am currently 30 ish weeks pregnant. DS feeds rather intermittently these days. Today, he is feeling a bit under the weather so has been on and off my boob all day. Other days, he probably feeds 2 or 3 times a day, with a long feed in the morning.

I've noticed recently he has started to say "empty now" after a short while and I'm wondering if my supply running low.

Also, I've heard that nipple stimulation can bring on labour. Is this something I should be aware of? What can I do to prevent this happening?

Any advice gratefully received!

I had low supply from about 12 weeks, even though DD was still demand fed. The lack of milk didn't bother her in the slightest.

Nursing did not bring on labour for me - I was 13 days over.

Feeding an older child does't bring on labour dont wory about it!

bringing on labour is more early pg if you have a history of mc's....they tell you to avoid nips stim...

as for running out...bm doesn't....it is possible due to pg hormones that milk might be lower right now...also, it might just be a phrase your lil one uses to excuse that he is finished his bf that moment...

Thanks everyone. I hadn't thought of using that as signal for finishing. I'll stop worrying about it and carry on as we are!
