Yes, my dd did this when she needed winding. A quick burp and she would go back on no problem

scrooged · 19/02/2009 20:43

Is there any milk coming out? Has she got a fever?

plonker · 19/02/2009 20:46

Do you want to try again with your dd? ...or are you just wanting to ascertain that its normal ready for next time?

mememummy · 19/02/2009 21:19

yeah i just want to know if it was normal, i was 19 at the time and hv and mw were no use at all, i tried winding her but nothing

it is almost certainly wind. it happened with me with both of mine so just try hard to get some kind of wind out and start again

mememummy · 19/02/2009 21:27

It could have been a fast let down.

Feeding lying down helped me with that.

mememummy · 19/02/2009 21:44

i couldnt get the hang of that, :S

There are other things you can do to stop a fast let down. Feeding from the same side two feeds in a row i think.

Tiktok may have some advice or you can search in the archives.
