Hello ladies - this is a question for a friend, she is due back to work in May when her baby is almost 10 months old and her baby will not take a bottle at all..I know I used a cup with a soft teat with my ds but cant remember its name, wonder if you can help?

I had a nightmare with my baby - I tried EVERY single bottle/cup etc that I could think of without any success. Someone then recommended me the Breasflow bottles - and he took it straight off - after fighting tooth and nail to keep the boob up to that point!

(I think you can get them from mothercare online)

Hiya, just to put her mind at rest a little bit. May is a long time off. If the baby won't take a bottle now, don't worry about it. By 10 months old, she'll probably be able to do a bf in the morning before work, and at bedtime, then maybe a few in the night to make up for anything lost during the day. But at 10 months bub will probably be drinking water from a beaker and eating 3 meals a day. HTH

My DS wouldn't take a bottle as never had one - in the end he accepted a Tommee Tippee 4 month + one with the flip top spout.

It didn't have the spill-control spout which meant he didn't have to suck very much. Any spill-control spout was useless for him as he wasn't used to that kind of suck to feed.
