Question about building milk supply and feeding...

Am thrying to bring milk in by expressing with electric pump, hand expressing and skin to skin.

I have tried to latch DD on a few times but she just isn't getting anything yet from me and getting frustrated because of it. - getting drops from expressing which i am cup feeding to her (only a few tiny mouthfuls)

So what Im asking is would it be OK to just focus on the expressing and close contact until I get more of a supply, then when i try and latch her on she will taste the milk and hopefully suck rather than immediatly pulling away?

I have tried putting a few drops of formula on my nipple but she just pulls off still.

good information from kellymom

It says that as it's about more than just feeding, your baby will get a lot out of it, even if you don't have much of a supply.

Good Luck

What about those supplementing systems? You know the ones with the tube that attaches to the bottle and tapes to your breast so when the baby sucks they are 'rewarded' from the tube while you are still getting the stimulation? I think dizzee is using one....
