reflux, ranitidine and side effects

Hi - DD is 14 weeks and has just been prescribed ranitidine. This is working a treat and she is feeding marvellously well on it but I think there may be a few side effects. After not pooing at all the first day she has since done one very runny poo a day (sorry for TMI! ). Has anyone else's DC suffered the same and if so did the dose have to be altered? I would hate her to have to stop taking it as she is so settled and happy on it

DS also had ranitidine for his reflux and he also took a few days to settle with his poo'ing. He then settled and seemed to be a little more constipated but we just gave him some cooled boiled water each day and this seemed to help. Keep going for a few more days and see if it settles.
