Please can somebody talk me through expressing?

DS is nearly 14 weeks, excl BF, and I'd like to start getting him used to the odd bottle so that I can leave him with someone else sometimes. I've got a good pump, it's very effective and I am able to express a good amount, but my question is really, when do I express? Won't it mess up the supply and demand if I express one side while he has the other? Surely then that would make more than he needs and I would be engorged? Any advice gratefully recieved

I used to express in the morning from both sides around 9am - DD would have fed at 7am-ish and would have another around 10/10.30am.

At 14 weeks my supply was established, do you think that your milk supply is established?

Yes, I think it is established, i definitely make enough for him. That sounds like good advice, to express around that time, because 7am is about when he feeds first for the day, and then again around ten. I'll try that and see.thanks for advice.
