Do you think 'advertising' breastfeeding on TV would help promote it?

Not in a hard sell way, but more as a platform to get facts across and normalise it abit. What do you think? How come LLL/NCT etc. do not do this? With support numbers at the bottom? Just musing really...

There's plenty of advertising, patronising posters mainly, in most maternity wards. But a bit more sensible info would go such a long way to helping prolong bf. Just something along the lines of: constant feeding in the early weeks is good, how to help cracked nipples. The class i went to was beyond useless for sorting out any potential problems.
