hi

have just seen midwife our dd2 is 10 days old
she weighed 8lbs7 @ birth
on day 5 she weighed 8lbs6.5ozs
today she weighed 8lbs 4ozs

midwife isnt to concerned dd2 hadnt had a big feed before they came.

dd2 is drinking 2 ozs 3 hourly said she should be drinking 3ozs.
she has started drinking 1oz 2-3 hourly and then giving up.

we are going to try her with a medium teat for the next one wondered if the newborn teats are too slow for her she has quite a suck on her.

she ahs been quite sicky over the last few days 2!!

dd1 was a very fussy eater never drank much

Are you using formula or expressing? If formula, perhaps you could try a different brand. A friend of mine had terrible problems with sma but found cow and gate a lot better. I hope this is any help

cheers we started her on aptimal from yesterday afternoon has been drinking 3 ozs since
