BF and caffeine

How much caffiene is recommended when BF? I really would love to be able to have the odd glass of coke without feeling guilty

I think a small cup or two a day of coffee / tea / coke is OK but I have been told it depends on the baby - some seem to be very sensitive to caffine while others aren't affected.

No idea what the recommendations are for health, but I'm sure a glass of coke is way beyond anything remotely problematic. I was always more worried about the effect on dss' sleep patterns: neither was a good day-time sleeper so I only ever had a m of 1 coffee/day in case any more made them even less likely to drop off.
