transporting breastmilk

hello! i have just gone back to work and express at lunchtime, stick it in the fridge and then take it home in a cool bag adn put it in my fridge. When i get home (maybe about 40 mins) it doesn't feel that chilled anymore. I am super paranoid about keeping breastmilk and so worried that this temperature changing might do bad things.

Can anyone reassure me or else give me a better way of doing it?

Thanks

WW

It should be absolutely fine! I used to do what you are describing in 32 degree heat every day and it was fine. Does your cool bag have a cooler pack thingy in it? If not, you could add one of these to make it extra cold.

Great! It doesn't have one of those coolery things, but i might try to pick one up.

Thanks!
