How can i get ds to take bottle back???

Ds is 21wks & for the last week has been off his milk a bit. he was previously in a good 4 hrly routine but then started only taking 2-3oz so i reverted back to 3 hrly. this is working better & he'll now take 4-5oz each feed but if i break him off he won't take the bottle back. for example this morning he only took 3oz then filled his nappy so broke himself off & refused to take the bottle back. he then took a whole bowl of fruit cereal so he was obviously still hungry. does any1 else have experience of this, any suggestions??

could you try giving him the food first and then just "top him up" with the milk?

I would disagree with that purepurple - At 21 weeks the milk is much more important than the food so should be offered first. Don;t have any experience of this yarrow5 but maybe someone else can offer some suggestions...
