Growth spurt at 4 months?

New to MN, I'm after advice re possible 4 month growth spurt. Have wee boy who is feeding every hour, won't nap, waking in the night after he was sleeping through since 4 weeks. I'm exhausted, feel like I don't have enough milk, how long will this go on for?? Should I swap to formula? Did anyone else have 4 month growth spurt - my daughter didn't, is it just greedy boys?! Will it last much longer?

Yes - the 4 month growth spurt is a big one from my experience! Stick with it. feed feed feed (ds and yourself!) and don;t try to do too much else. It should ease after about 10 days or so. Good luck!

Yes - been there! v normal. Just keep feeding as he needs it and your supply will adjust to his demands. Mine didn't take as long as 10 days but I guess it will depend on each mum and baby! It's a good excuse for you to have some relaxing time with your feet up and no housework - baby takes priority! Get yourself some good books and dvds and a lot of snacks and get comfy on the sofa for a few days!
