When you stopped BF...

Just wondering for those who've already stopped feeding or are on number 2 or more - when you stopped feeding, how long did it take for your boobs to settle down to their new post-baby size? We are starting to gradually wind it down now that DS is nearly 13 months - dropped the morning feed a few days ago and now only feeding before bed, and I think that one will probably stop sometime in the next few weeks too. So I'm wondering how long it's likely to be before I can treat myself to a few nice new non-feeding bras, without having to worry about changing size again afterwards! Also did most people end up bigger/smaller/the same size as they were pre-baby? Thank you.

I fed DS1 till he was over 2 and am feeding DS2 who is 19 months.
My boobs went back to the same size as pre baby after about 7-8 months with both of them.
I think if you are only doing one feed a day this won't have much/any impact on your bra size.
Why not buy some pretty bras now anyway, you can always pull them down to feed (or even take it off if you are only feeding at bedtime)?
I have never let b-feeding stop me from wearing pretty bras...

I have small boobs and both times took about 3 months for my boobs to readjust and find their place.

At first they were very odd shaped and the nipples looked huge but they settled down and look just the same as before - small!

I think I'm a bit unusual, but bfed DS1 for 8 weeks before switching to formula. My boobs went from a pre-pg 36A to 38DD in pregnancy to a 34F while feeding and settled to a 36C/D after about 6 months. However I could still express milk for 2 years after the birth.

I stopped at 6 months, and it took about a month or two for them to settle back to their (tiny) pre preg size. I was disappointed because I had gotten used to having boobs, and wanted to get new bras, but I'm back in the old ones again. The other day my sister shouted out "my god, your tits have gone!" Yeh, thanks for that

Thanks! I doubt I will go back to quite as small as I used to be, am guessing probably somewhere in between, but will have to wait and see.
Pannacotta - I have got some nice bras in the bigger sizes, including a few pretty feeding ones too, but the nicer ones mostly look lumpy under my clothes, so am mostly living in plain t-shirt styles now. I have managed to find pretty t-shirt ones before, but not nursing ones. As I still do seem to be shrinking a bit I think I will wait until things have settled so I don't spend lots of money on ones that might not fit in a few weeks.
If I do end up the same size as before that could be quite good, cos I had just bought several nice bras when I got pregnant and promptly grew out of them all! So at least that way I would get to wear them after all.

Mine were smaller when I stopped than before I was pregnant, but I had lost quite a bit of weight. Back to normal now I've put it all back on. Couldn't stop eating the cakes that got me through thw 1000 calories I needed to feed twins!
