ds is now 20wks & it has become a real struggle sometimes 2 get any wind from him. especially on his dream feed. it takes 10mins 2 feed him & up 2 30mins 2 wind. when is it safe 2 stop winding??

Is it coming out the other end? I stopped winding both my boys after the first months or so - all winding did for DS1 was make him throw up his feed and DS3 just didn't need it. People acted like I was some strange creature when I said I didn't wind them lol.

I gave up about 12 weeks or so - I'd struggle too to get any out of dd (plus she seems to be particularly pleased to do it herself - is 6 months old now )

very windy the bottom end & he does bring more up top end throughout the day!

my 23 week old can pretty much wind himself, though there's plenty of action at the other end too, as always.

I never winded dd, and it didn't seem to do any harm at all. If there was gas in there she either burped or farted regardless of what I did or didn't do .
