Hi,

My DD is 23 weeks and the past few days has been really funny with her feeds. She will only take 3ozs max per feed. After that its like are trying to feed her poison!

This is the same at night... 1 or 2 ozs which means she is waking much more often as she is hungry but again will take only a few ozs!

Tried bigger teats and that makes no difference.

Any ideas anyone?

DH has questioned if we should try her with some baby rice but im not sure and wanted to do BLW with her.
Aarrgghh... Why dont theses babies come with manuals!

Hey, my ds is the same age and being really fussy on the boob during the day - think he is just distracted (life suddenly got v interesting)! He is feeding for longer at night though (dark, no distractions?)

(solid food made no difference to my ff dd's sleeping)

We thought that, so have tried no distractions and it makes no difference

Is she teething maybe? I know when my DS started teething his feeding went a bit strange for a few days.

Maybe she just would rather snack? My dd eats (still does) little and often and doesn't seem to like feeling 'FULL' iykwim - mind you, she was always like this..

Could be something entirely different though? Teething or a cold? IME the first year is a constant well what the hell is going on? detective thing
