Okay, I do like to be organised and know what's going to happen next. Sad but I'm not one for leaving things to chance.

Anyway I am still bf Dd who is 8 months. I would like to get to a year (maybe a tiny bit longer) but know that extended bf is not for me. At the moment she has 3 feeds a day which I am happy to continue with. I go back to work when she is 11 months and would like her to have her afternoon milk from a cup and then when i stop bf to have all milk from a cup.

So, when should I start to give her milk from a cup? She loves bf but will take a bottle if I need her to. She has water from a first cup thingy but she is quite messy with it

How easy is to to go from breast/bottle to a cup? Which cups are best? When should I be starting this?

Try any time from now I suppose - she could have a feed a day from a cup. I find Tommee Tippee (the less than a £1 ones) the best, anything more advanced means the contents don't come out.

My DD2 has never happily taken a bottle (she's 7 months). She has one cup-drink a week when I go out and Daddy watches her for a few hours. We use the 4month+ beaker from Boots. It holds about 4-5ozs, has no handles and costs around the £2 mark.
