Im mix feeding my 5 month old breast and hipp organic, but I bought a new box and the recipe has changed, its goin lumpy, baby is fussy at feeds and stools have thickened! Would you change the brand and if so what to?

have your read the label? someone on my Post Natal thread noticed the same thing. Her dp was using the old scoop in the new container.

I am mix feeding with Hipp too - Ingredients have changed (says so on the box, but nowhere near clear enough bearing in mind the scoop size has also changed).

I haven't seen any extra lumps, and she takes it quite happily - but now you mention it, stools have become more difficult for her. Hmm... watching this thread with interest.

Another one here who mix feeds with Hipp. I've noticed the consistency is much thicker. When you put it in the water it just sits on the top til i kind of melts in. It used to dissolve much more quickly.

No idea what is different, althuogh DH did say it makes you wonder what they put in it before or now that it has changed so much

i mix feed with hipp but i havent noticed any change to either the consistency or the packaging. i saw the thread about the scoop size and mine is the same size so maybe i'm using older stock.

the only thing i have noticed is its more expensive in the supermarkets than boots now

I noticed the change a while ago - Make sure you use the smaller scoop.

Dd didnt notice the change and it mixed well. I shake the hell out of it though!
