I recieved a new bra from bravissimo today, im not sure it fits. im tempted to put a pic on my profile with it on so people could tell me if they think its fits of not, it looks nothing like it does on the model.

Would it be a really silly thing to do? i dont really care who sees my big norks since bf and i would cut out my face. i wont be going to a bra shop for a while, i was measured at truimph sp? a few weeks ago.

I'll have a look if you like then you can whip it down again (the pic not your bra dear!)

Where's the strap sitting on your back? What fastening do you have it on? Is it cutting in? Your dc's are lovely by the way and your knockers are huge!

lollyheart · 30/12/2008 21:06

Thank you they are lovely, even when my 4 yr old is still reading books in bed.
"im not sleepy mum" she has just told me.

The strap is quiet high up my back, its on the tightest fastening, and yes it digs in my shoulders. and should the middle bit be in the middle of my boobs iykwim.

no, it doesn't look right, and from what you've said it isn't either.

if it is on the tightest fasttening and it's still riding up then you need a smaller back. and it looks like you could do with a bigger cup size.

where in the country are you??? bravissimo are good, but IME rigby and peller are the best ever at fitting bras. there is one in bluewater now, as well as the london store

littleboyblue · 30/12/2008 21:15

At fittings that I've been to, they always say to do it on loosest fitting as it will stretch over time anyway. Strap shouldn't be high on back so sounds like you neded to come down a measure there, also the strap shouldn't dig into shoulders and when you bend down, the middle bit should be flat to your skin

Im in basingstoke hampshire.

I was measured as a 34 h a couple of weeks ago in the truimph sp? store, the only other bra shop we have is la senza sp?

OP posts:
littleboyblue · 30/12/2008 21:18

I wouldn't waste time getting measured in la senza, I'm a 36DD, and they tried to tell me I was a B. Is there not a Debenhams in Basingstoke?

thisisyesterday · 30/12/2008 21:22

well, i would go down to a 32, and up to a J

lollyheart · 30/12/2008 21:23

Yes there is a debenhams in basingstoke are they any good?

OP posts:
littleboyblue · 30/12/2008 21:24

Better than la senza, I went there after ds was born and they were very good. It was Woking branch I went to

thisisyesterday · 30/12/2008 21:25

the best thing to do is just keep trying different ones on until you find the "right" one.

might be worth trying figleaves though. you can usually get a code for free delivery, and returns are free too, so it's great for trying different sizes

whomovedmychocolate · 30/12/2008 22:38

You can get large cup Royce bras from John Lewis. That's what I do. That one is deffo wrong (sorry you lost me earlier -wandered off to do the ironing while I was waiting!)

GreenPenguin · 30/12/2008 23:02

Try Royce Emily on Figleaves. I'm a 32J.
only one that fitted.
You can also get free delivery on myvouchercodes website.

MatNanPlusAbroad · 30/12/2008 23:06

Doesn't look right.

Debs much better than La Senza that is for sure, i am 34/36F and they tried to say a 38B was good!

MatNanPlusAbroad · 30/12/2008 23:07

I have to use cotton bra's so the 34/36 depends on amount of elasticity.
