So.... my 5 month old baby is feeding once or twice in the night and not much then in the morning.
Last night we did a dream feed at 10.30 then another at 3.30 as he usually wakes between 4 and 5. He then cried between 6 and 7. Got him up for bottle at 7 but he only took a small amount.
How do I get him to have whole bottles at regualr intervals rather than a drop here and there and then through the night?
He has gone more than 9 hours whithout feeds through the night in the past but for over 2 months now we have been in this situation...

any ideas?

He cried between 6-7 because it was his morning?!

Lots of babies get up at 6am every day. The fact that he only took a small bottle at 7 suggests that he wasn't hungry - just awake!?

If this is the case then you'll be seeing a lot of these dark mornings....

I guess you just want to make sure he is well fed during the day and wants less in the night. If it's any consolation, what you describe is a good night for my breastfed 5 month old! a typical night goes - 11:00 - 2:00 - 4:30-5:00 - 6:30
