Grapefruit Seed Extract anyone??

I've got thrush - lovely stuff- and some of you swear by GSE only I can't find any in the UK. I bought something from Holland&Barratts only to find that it's Grapefruit Pectin Fibre which doesn't appear to have the key active ingredient Citricidin or something like that... can anyone help? I'll try anything to be able to breastfeed without agonising pain...

sympathies, I had this for weeks and it was shit. I got some GSE from a UK site, will look. Finally got prescribed 2 weeks of fluconazole which shifted it, but what a faff!

I don't know about Grapefruit seed extract but when i went to local homeopathic place to get some for my thrush the assistant (who seemed v. knowledgeable) recommended colloidal silver spray which i used and i think was pretty effective at helping the nipples heal - be warned it may turn your skin blue if you over use it . Ultimately like Bohemianbint it was a course of fluconazole that really shifted the problem (check out the BFN website)

Thank you!! I got told to rub Canesten on my nipples for a week, hasn't worked
