Tandem feeding when one DC is ill?

Is this ok?

My toddler appears to have some sort of vomiting bug - can I still feed him and my 7 week old together? I don't want to stop feeding the toddler as I think that my BM will be good for his sore tummy?

Thanks

yes of course, bm is best for both of them still

I should elaborate - I am worried about passing germs on to my newborn? Do I need to wash my nipples after feeding the toddler?

no it'll be fine, breastmilk is all anti-bacterial anyway

Prentice, def keep feeding your toddler. His saliva on your nipples tells your body to produce the antibodies that he needs to help him, which means that your 7wk old will get them too!

Hope your ds is feeling better today

And before your toddler showed any symptoms the bug was flying around anyway. Better to get your breastmilk manufacturing the specific antibodies and antivirals with continued exposure. Hope everyone is healthy soon.
