Baby is 4 wks and has been excl. breatsfed and his poo seems a lot more liquid today but then again baby's poo are always a bit runny arent they?
it seems more liquid than usual though.. should i be worried? Is that due to something i ate ?

if its diarrhea it smells rancid - whereas bf baby poo is quite sweet smelling.
In my experience their poo can change from what you eat. My sister couldn't eat tomatoes with any of hers. But I wouldn't worry if your baby seems fine

well im not sure because he has been crying A LOT today and been very clingy...
But he hasnt got temperature and everything else seems normal...
Ive got my 6 weeks check next week so im thinking to wait until then and mention it to the GP then

when it smells vile. you'll know the difference when it does. poo can be v. runny for a bf baby and still be normal.

my ds would get this if i ate tomatoes, my friends ds got it when she ate chocolate.

you will have to think what you have had to eat, its usually acid things like citrus fruits etc

it can also go green, though some BF babies have green poo normally. Even if it is a tummy bug, you don't do anything different as BF gives everything you need, so don't worry!

Yes it is sometimes green, do you know why???

is stays green because that feed did not stay in the GI tract long enough to accumulate enough bilirubin which is what makes their poo yellow.
