Cows milk for a nearly 10 mo?

Little Ff is nearly ten months old, and has three breastfeeds a day as well as her three solid meals.

I'm going away for the night tomorrow (Will Young at The Roundhouse...I am sooooo excited. But anyway...)and because I went away last weekend too (I know - 9 months of having a baby strapped to my boob, and now I'm abandoning her for the second week in a row!) all of my stocked up expressed breast milk has gone. I have been trying to express all week, but have been struggling, so she is going to have to have something else .

It'll be three feeds - tomorrow afternoon, tomorrow bedtime, and Saturday morning - so is it ok to just give her whole cows milk (which she already has on her cereal in the morning) or do I need to buy formula? If formula, which would you recommend? It is just this one time, as I intend to feed her until her birthday in February.

Would be grateful for any advice.

You can get formula milk in the cartons. If it's just for 3 feeds, just get 3 of them (they are about 7oz each). My DS loves the C&G cartons (when we are out and about!). Enjoy!
